New era begins

I just signed up an account at Webcomics Nation Free. As noted previously in this space, the ISP member webspace where I've been uploading fanfiction for ten years is almost full. Plus I thought I'd put up a mirror site for AKOTAS, with fancier coding so my readers can make use of OhNoRobot and be able to find individual AKOTAS strips by websearching. It looks like creating the mirror site will entail individually uploading 952 strips if I got it all done tomorrow, which it more time than I expected to put into it. but I'll probably move the fanfiction series there at or after the turn of the year.

I sat down last night and re-read the AKOTAS archives up until about March of this year.

It reads quite well in long, sustained doses -- which is particularly amusing, given your repeated musings in the Notes/Rants that some comics don't and shouldn't.

I also realized for the first time that the Greek alphabet used for the mystical chanting in the Space Arc wasn't just "greeking" -- and laughed out loud when I realized what was being said.

Heh. Actuallly you're not the first to suggest it reads well, or even better, in aggregate than in strips. Sometimes I'm not sure how I feel about that, but usually my philosophy is - just so people enjoy it, that's what it's for.
