If you remain a fan of the invented characters in my blue binder cartoons, the ones you were in: I had fun blogging kind of a lot about them recently at Tumblr and I decided I should reprint those entries at LiveJournal as backups.

When I first decided with paper dailies in the 90s to excise other people's intellectual property from the stories of Infinity Labs and the Moreau Project, the tv characters whom Infinity Labs would visit interdimensionally were replaced by thinly-veiled parodies of themselves: Captain X (who was played by a different actor every time his/her time machine moved), Space Wars, Space Wars: The New Battles, Space Wars: Battle Station Zed, W*R*A*H, etc. When paper dailies were revived for online in 2003, however, it was on a website where there were already cartoons based on what had developed into an entire "imaginary screen canon".

In 1999 I had started going through my Star Trek/Doctor Who crossovers and globally replacing the franchises' proper nouns with names from the Matter of Britain: Arthur for Kirk, Guenevere for McCoy, Lancelot for Spock, Merlin or Nimue for the Doctor, etc.; under the umbrella title King Arthur in Time and Space (the precursor, obviously, for Arthur, King of Time and Space). My original fanfiction website has several such stories and several pages of timeline of air history for the imaginary tv shows that those stories are fanfiction of. So when online "original dailies" started they naturally(?) replaced the thinly-veiled parodies with the KAITAS equivalents.

And that's why in this cartoon the visiting interdimensional time traveler is Nimue wearing the Doctor's costume from Scream of the Shalka, instead of the Doctor himself, or instead of Captain X.

This is the final "original daily" comic strip in the history of Infinity Labs and/or the Moreau Project, because when Arthur, King of Time and Space started I changed the first website's cartoons' format to fanfiction only; and because, since I was quitting original Dailies, it meant I could expose Infinity Labs to the world even though I couldn't for the life of me figure out what would happen next. (Though in 2006 I learned to make Flash animations for the internet, and for a very short time Akili Tembo and Newton Dexter lived again, but there wasn't any real story development before I ran out of inspiration.)
