scarfmanThat was great. Even if I should become disillusioned with it later, how great it was tonight can’t be taken from me.
I cried. I cried when he died. I knew he was just the latest screen incarnation of a character who’ll live forever starting next Wednesday when new comic books ship. I knew he’d be back for the next film if not before the end of this one. I know he’s a version of the character I’ve been criticizing almost since the premier of the one previous installment of his story and I didn’t even think of that. I wept as I wept for my wife.
As I left the theater I wished the employee doing the cleanup a happy holiday and
omg they killed him on good friday
