Tomorrow I'm going to see Dawn of Justice*. Despite the poor reviews and my reservations about Man of Steel, I am optimistic going in to this one for the irrational reason that Supergirl is so good. What I really expect is, like Man of Steel and Into Darkness, I shall enjoy it while I'm watching it while being bothered by little niggles that I later realize are big issues when I see on the internet that they bothered lots of other people too. Also like Man of Steel I'm being treated by one of my kids: I saw Man of Steel with my stepson for Father's Day, and I'm seeing Dawn of Justice on a gift card sent at Christmas by my stepdaughter and son-in-law. So, thanks guys.

* I don't refer to this film as Batman V Superman because "bvs" already means something else in my blogs' tags. And because I reserve the right, as I realized in time I needed to do with Man of Steel, to decide afterwards that the character in it is a misrepresentation and/or a deconstruction and is not Superman at all. (And maybe that the other guy isn't Batman either, who even knows any more I tell you what.)
