Mar. 1st, 2016 09:03 amMaybe Sanders can’t win enough delegates. Maybe he can’t win the nomination. Maybe he can’t win the election, or serve effectively if he should win. I still think it’s important to support him however far the support can take him, because I think it’s useful to scare the people that this is scaring. You may say, is scaring them wise when they’re the type more likely to double down than to moderate? Well, what’s the worse they can do? These are the people who have already funneled Trump toward the White House, and they’re thinking twice about that. They’re scared of the worst they can do too.
Plus, a democratic socialist who can’t serve effectively is better than a fascist who can’t. Or especially than a fascist who can, Cruz supporters.
