And now I'm trying to remember if you've ever previously done anything with Anakin's backstory, because "taken away by slavers" reminds me of your version of Saavik, and once one starts thinking along those lines one notices that Shmi's story about how Anakin was conceived could easily be reconciled with the Father's MO.

(And "Heaven Sent" adds an extra wrinkle, because the Doctor's bit about his people taking a very long time to die would explain a few things about Anakin's survival after being left for dead on Mustafar.)
