Last night we watched Serenity with the Whedon commentary turned on. It's all fascinating stuff, but I was particularly taken by his discussion under the first scene between Mal and Simon about color-coding characters' clothing.

I'm holding off on watching the movie (although I'm not too obsessive about avoiding spoilers at this late date) until I see Firefly. And for that, I've got to get hold of the stuff, and then have time sans kiddo-interruptions. Ooh, hey, maybe this week while he's at my mom's.... hrm... well, there went all of that free time.

Well, and painting the hallway/kitchen. That's this week too. Sometime. But Firefly sounds like more fun.
