Would it be easier to reframe it as: "...And I'm one of Them."? You know, for when the neurotypical fear mongers start spouting their usual horror stories about the "calamity of autism."

Because from where I sit, you look like a living rebuttal to all that.

Maybe, because the audience of the cartoon is generally non-autistic people. But maybe not, because my feeling the cartoon is addressing is my relationship with other autistics.
