Well, it appears that LiveJournal's new year resolution is to quit mirroring my Twitter again. I went into settings and turned the mirroring off than on again, cuz that's worked before, but here're the highlights of what you missed:

• @deray The effect(s) of evil are immediate. The effect(s) of love felt over time. The immediacy of evil makes it appear to be stronger than love.
• It's New Year's Eve, I'm home from work, and I don't have to leave the house again for forty hours if I don't want to. yay
• RT @dresdencodak I don't care how cool you think he is, if Batman can get his back broken by a luchador on steroids, he's not beating the Last Son of Krypton
• First time ever I've had tabs open for Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook and LiveJournal at once. (And IMDb for the movie I have on.)
• The stuff about boys and make-up was a cover story. Susan Pevensie had gotten her Hogwarts letter.
• What's up on my Doctor Who rewatch? 'A Holiday for the Doctor'. Sounds appropriate for today IT'S PART 1 OF THE GUNSLINGERS TOO LATE TOO

Actually I kid, I don't feel the animosity to The Gunslingers that most people do. I actually rather like it. I enjoy listing "the gunfight at the OK Corral" as one of the sf tropes Doctor Who and Star Trek share.
