I voted. There was no independent candidate in the race where I wanted to vote against both the main candidates, so I didn't vote that race. Otherwise I voted against the name more familiar to me (i.e., against the bigger P.R. budget), or against the incumbent (on the throw the bums out principle) edit or against negative campaigns.

And doesn't it just say something about the state of the world that we spend more time voting against than voting for?
