So I click on the link to a friend's deviantArt gallery in an entry on my flist, and my browser locks up. That there were two other progams open might have been a factor, and that there were five other Firefox tabs open in the browser window, and that I was on a five or seven year old laptop. But it didn't happen with any of the other tabs. Firefox took Windows Task Manager a half a dozen commands to end before it ended.

I will never run a website that causes that.

Nargh. I've personally never had any trouble with Firefox and dA. I'm going to ask around a little, because you're the second person I know who has this problem. What version are you running?

Of Firefox? Uh, let's see if I can figure that out ... The Help box says 1.0.6.

Waiting anxiously for a promised computer upgrade; this machine dates from January 2001 and struggles to run Netscape 7.1. I haven't been able to log in to dA on this machine for -months- now.
