A Song Of Ice And Fire. The umbrella title for the GRRM book series that the tv show Game of Thrones comes from.

Ah. I had never seen that particular acronym used until now. I am familiar with the series, although I haven't read any of the books. At this point, I think I may just wait until the last book is released before I even think about reading any of them.
