All I have to do, when I script a cartoon for the Doctor, is ask myself, "Is this cartoon actually about the Doctor rather than just about someone very like him?", and if the answer's, "No," just change the dialog tags before it's drawn. Not that there won't be cartoons that are actually about Guinan, but the other thing happened for the first time today.
One fun part is figuring out who her
straight mencompanions are. Over the years there've been quite a few Star Trek castmembers whose stories have ended up with the first step toward transcendance of space and time.
