- 10:30:27: Mentioned the other day I found my brother on Twitter and followed him. This morning his wife showed up in my To Follow recommendations.

Date: 2011-03-07 01:53 pm (UTC)It is, in fact, the episode that got me to start watching TNG again, after giving up in frustration halfway into Season 1.
I was crashing at a friend's house after getting out of the Coast Guard, and his family watched TNG regularly. I sat down to watch with them, and the first episode up was "Darmok".
My reaction, at the commercial break: "Damn! This is the kind of science fiction I read!"
