Danny Boyle's stage Frankenstein features Bernard Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller switching roles nightly between the doctor and the monster. I thought Christopher Plummer and Brian Dennehy should have been switching roles every night when they were doing Inherit the Wind years ago.

...and when Sylvester McCoy had just delivered (though we did not yet know it) his penultimate (official, televisual) performance as the Doctor, that was what I thought *he* should do. =:o}

(Basic prenise: TARDIS turns up on an earthlike planet during something akin to the American civil war... Doctor gets severly burned... TARDIS mysteriously vanishes... Doctor is left to regenerate "in the wild" (no TARDIS-tech support), and his mid-regen "Watcher"-like chrysalis form gets seen by the locals and driven out as being a monster (with flaming torches and everything!). Only Ace is on hand to protect and defend him, as an impatient imperialist military dubs him a potential threat and shoots him as he sleeps, and an uneasy/"justifiably paranoid" popular militia drives him out of town.)

I meant I thought Plummer and Dennehy ought to have switched roles in Inherit the Wind every night. Will edit.
