She's only holding a baby. He's three emonths old; even Galahad won't be walking yet.

I don't think it would be as noticeable if he wasn't being carried (Mordred does not look as disturbing), but ... he's about the size of, perhaps smaller than the bottle. And the ties. Plus, even among triangles, he's disproportionally skinny for a three-months-old. And he's naked. ;-)

Maybe I'd be less disturbed if he were wrapped in a blanket or something?

If your tie hung half your body length, it'd be longer than your three-month old, too. And he only looks that skinny because he's being viewed almost edge-on. I think you're not allowing enough for the nature of a drawing style. I mean, the figures are only about two heads tall - realistic scale isn't to be expected.

Could be. I'd never on my own had come up with the idea of viewing a baby edge-on, that's for sure. ;-)
