I remember that road trip we all took to the Grand Canyon some years back. Whatever possessed us to pack up spouses and kids and drive cross-country to see a big hole in the ground, I can't say, but it was sure fun, wasn't it? Particularly when you got that sunburn on the top of your feet from riding in the inner tube and had to climb back up to our campsite on your bare feet.

I can still hear the kids giggling every time you'd go "hoo!" and "oh!" from a hard rock; as I recall, your wife was having a wee bit of trouble keeping a straight face as well. Good thing it didn't blister, and you were able to put your shoes on to go back up the trail the next morning!

Wasn't that impromtu spin in the NASA space shuttle a blast? Pity we didn't know how to land it and bailed out early over DisneyWorld and slid down the Epcot dome..

Man, I remember after you and drake57 got impeached, I tagged along with you guys when you fled to Cuba and we hit the Copa Cobana. Partied until dawn. Yeah, those were the good times...

And did you know that the day you set it up for was the day they filmed... um, thingy... you know, he played Merlin in the original series - the day he filmed his cameo?

(Splendid actor, old thingy. Resilient, too, the way he carried such a demanding part for so many years. How terribly embarrassing that I can't seem to recall his name just at the moment.)
