You know, the first AKOTAS strip is still the best and most succinct bit of Instant Exposition I've ever seen. Whenever I try to describe the strip to anyone, linking to that first strip is the easiest and best way to summarize it.
(In fact, I should probably just put a link to it on the AKOTAS TV Tropes page.)
If AKOTAS were a TV series, it would have to be part of the opening credits (or pre-credits expo-bumper) on at least the first two or three seasons.
