What (if anything) do you most regret?

I regret not drawing comic strips for the internet as soon as I went online in 1995, which I consciously decided for the reasons of the contemporary download rate. Moron.

Have you moved around a lot in your life, or have you mostly stayed in the same geographic area? If it's the former, where are you "native" to?

Do you or have you had pets? And if so, what kind(s)?

I've pretty much moved around decadely. I was born in Atchison, Kansas but I lived most of the 60s in Detroit - I remember staying home from school on account of race riots, and not being able to play at the playground on the alley because the hippies had taken it over. Then there was a year and a half in Wilmette, Illinois; but from 1971 I spent my adolescence in Omaha. I went to Evanston for college in 1978 and didn't leave the Chicago area till 1992, when qtrhorserider and I decided we didn't want the kids going through the Chicago school system and moved to Louisville, Kentucky where her family is. In 2002 she was ready to go to law school, and while her parents had other kids locally mine don't, so we came back to Omaha.

My family has had cats and dogs, but I never did when I was single and I don't really consider that I have. Right now there are two cats, Chiana and Mei-Mei.
