Part one of the third Star Wars trilogy; encorporating a few elements of the "Expanded Universe", crossed over with Doctor Who, and condensed to nine panels.

I don't think I recall Stars and Time well enough to do that. But there is influence of yours in the present work: At the original premiere of my Reach Out and Kill Someone you commented that the character names Ior and Bubo sounded like Star Wars names. I replied that I'd borrowed them from Winnie Ille Pu. But I remembered your comment when I was naming the Sith lord in this piece.

I've never thought of it before, but books like that must be a very good source of science fictiony names. The next time I'm stuck for a character name, I may Google Ursus Nomine Paddington 8-).

Ior is obviously Eeyore, and I'd guess that Bubo is Owl, partly because you draw him with tufts of hair resembling owl horns, and partly because I looked up the Winnie Ille Pu entry on Latin Wikipedia and Bubo was the only one I couldn't immediately identify (since I know Lepus from Night Of... and the Lapine language).

Yes. Though I would hope that someone familiar with Pooh, informed that those two characters in Reach Out and Kill Someone are named after Pooh characters, could tell which ones from their dialog.

I certainly would have, if I'd thought of that. But, being somewhat Rabbit-like, I had to carefully work it out the hard way, rather than seeing the obvious.
