I do hope so. RTD very badly needs someone to smack his hand on occasion and say "Bad Rusty. No cookie." He seems to be rather Anne Rice-like when it comes to having his work critiqued and beta'ed, which is frustrating because he comes so close to greatness, but inevitably trips himself.
Apparently Tennant pushed for darker tones in S2/28. I honestly shudder when I think what that absolute dogs breakfast would have been like without that influence (if true)
