There's a guy, deviantART.com username Balak01 (the copyright notice at the end reads Yves Bigerel), who's posted a brilliant piece there called "About DIGITAL COMICS". Check it out.

I tried something like this once (with many fewer panels, and HTML navigation instead of Flash) in the days of my first fanfiction site, but I didn't archive it there because I didn't think the effect internal to the art worked at all well. But you can decide for yourself here.
