There's a lot of talk about the content strike on LJ, set to begin in a few minutes. Some of the arguments against it are healthy and some of them don't hold water. I'm doing it anyway, because just because a right has been reserved doesn't make it polite, and because just because protesting something on principle won't have any practical effect doesn't make it wrong, and because I think it'd be good for me to get away for a day.
