"Owen," said Tosh, blushing.

"Owen?" said the Doctor. "The one person in all Earth history ruder than I?"

Tosh baldly changed the subject. "Who would you share this view with?"

"Martha deserves it," said the Doctor. Instantly Tosh thought, If Martha and the Doctor and Jack ... then that's why, but the Doctor continued. "But it'd be the wrong message. She fancied me, and I only burdened her. Before her was... Wait, Owen?"

Tosh laughed. "Yes, Doctor."

"You don't fancy me? At all?"

"Sorry."

The Doctor leaned on the balcony rail over Paris, pensive. "I could get used to that."

I would never in a million years have guessed this. Thank you, I love it! Even if Tosh is out of her bloody mind. Maybe she doesn't want to make Jack jealous. I wonder if the Doctor is thinking about Romana? I noticed he avoided giving Tosh the answer she was expecting.
