random speculation on Heroes

Claire is a healer. Claire is Nathan's illegitimate daughter. Lindermann was a healer. Lindermann knew Nathan's mom. Do the math.

Are you saying Lindermann is Nathan & Peter's father?

I suppose it's possible. In the comic you actually see the origin of Lindermann and Petrelli Sr., and Petrelli didn't seem to have any powers. In fact, he was at first creeped out by Lindermann's healing ability.

But it hasn't been shown that both parents need be special, or even, now that I think about it, that either parent be special (though I imagine mother Petrelli does have some power). Also, how a hero's power manifests seems kind of random. So I'd need more than that to hang my hat on.

I should point out that implying that Lindermann is Nathan's father doesn't necessarily imply that he's Peter's father, too.

I concur.

I'd say Linderman is actually more likely to be Peter's father than Nathan's. What with Nathan already being born by the time Petrelli and Linderman first meet.

Then again, that is of course no guarantee that Angela and Linderman haven't met before...

Linderman and Claire are very different kinds of healers, though. Linderman seems mainly capable of healing others, while Claire is very, very good at healing *herself*. Also, so far there hasn't really been a connection between the abilities of the parents and the children (admittedly, there is little or no information about grandparent's abilities), so why should there be this connection?
