I ended up writing it today. It's inobviously (except that I labeled it) a sequel to the story you stumped me with. And while I was writing it I started a third story in my head, now mostly typed up, of what would definitely be a series of stories totally 'shipping the Doctor and Peri. It's not like I haven't 'shipped them before, if on Usenet and on the near side of the fourth wall; but 'shipping behind the fourth wall isn't something I've ever done before in a fandom anyone cares about (Star Trek: Enterprise).
